Tunnel fails to start
- Confirm bind port is free
- Confirm SSH account allows forwarding
- Confirm destination host/port is reachable from SSH server
Tunnel starts but traffic fails
- Confirm you are targeting the forwarded port (not destination directly)
- Confirm destination service is up
- Recheck local firewall rules for bound port
